A loose collection of writings about the Caminos de Santiago.
These are my thoughts. This year (2024) I finished my 20’000th kilometer on the Caminos de Santiago.
I probably don’t fit the mold of the “typical pilgrim” anymore. I’m not religious, I’m not looking for anything,
I’m not running away from anything. It’s just that, after a few of those walks, the Camino feels like home, and so I am “coming home” once or thrice every year.
It doesn’t make me a better human being, I guess. I’m not sure. I’m not sure of anything, really. And I don’t have to be, that’s the cool part about this. Get up, drink your cafe con leche, walk, eat, sleep. Repeat. All else is much less important.
