Ultreia.me is an app by the community, for the community of pilgrims on the Caminos de Santiago. It is 100% free, ad-free, private, and does not generate income.

We operate servers and walk the Caminos during spring, summer, and fall to create and update our guides, vegan-vegetarian list, camping guide, points of interest, and more.

If you'd like to leave a few cents for a coffee or to keep the servers humming, we'd thank you. But know that this is never required. Pay it forward and invite a fellow pilgrim for a coffee instead.

What Ultreia Is

A Web App Optimized for mobile, no download required. Works on any device with a modern browser. Future-proof, light on data, and kind to your battery.
Open Source Our code and data will be public on GitHub once we reach Version 1.0. Contributors and supporters get access now.
Sharing with OpenStreetMap We share our findings with OSM, the free map of the world. Many Camino apps use this data; few share back. We do.
Community Project Built by pilgrims, for pilgrims. By being here, you're already part of us. Like an evening in the Meseta around a campfire.

Transparency

Ulteia.me operates three servers in two locations to ensure stability and data safety. Currently, all costs are covered by the volunteers themselves. We are not asking you to run this server for us, but if you could find it in your heart to buy us a coffee, we'd very much appreciate it.
